We are the counter, not the gallery
Phyrne takes no ownership of your work, no exclusivity, no term and no say in what you charge. Your buyers, your patrons and your prices are yours, and nothing about them is sold to anybody. Leaving takes nothing from you but us.

Six things we will not take
Your copyright
You keep every right in the work. We are granted only what is needed to show it and sell it on your behalf, and only while you ask us to.
Exclusivity
Nothing here is exclusive and nothing has a term. Sell and distribute the same work anywhere else at the same time.
Your buyers
The name and email address of everybody who bought from you, on the order, and of every patron, on the tier. Write to them yourself; we sell them to nobody.
Your prices
We never set, suggest, discount or promote a price without you. No platform sale you were opted into on a Tuesday.
Your work as training data
Your images, audio, film and writing are not used to train anything, by us or by anyone we sell it to. There is nobody we sell it to.
Your exit
Close the storefront and we stop selling for you, and your page and your work leave the public side that day. We do not hold your work hostage to a notice period.
What we do take
Eight per cent, and nothing you did not read about
Phyrne takes 8% of money that moves — a sale, a patronage payment, a licence — plus Stripe's processing fee, which is Stripe's. That is the entire business model, and it is deliberately one sentence long so that it cannot quietly become something else.
No ads. No boosts. No paid placement. Nothing about you or your buyers sold to anybody, ever.
Leaving
What happens the day you decide to go
Orders already placed still have to be fulfilled and are still paid out to you. Your patrons are put on hold the day the storefront closes, so nobody is billed for a month you will not deliver; their page says so, and each of them can cancel from the link in their welcome email. Tell them yourself as well. Licences already sold stay honoured on the terms they were sold under, because a licensee bought those from you.
Then your work comes off the public side, and that is the end of it. Close the storefront from its own screen, or write to us to close the account. There is no exit fee and no interview.
